Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - KIRBY - 2008-08-31 18:45:50 City look quite strong, depending upon how much of a flop/success Jo is they could do well this season. A static Newcastle with a defence bordering on liability are the kind of team that plays to Arsenal's strengths. Still can't see Arsenal coming away from a lot of away grounds with much, especially were Fabregas to be injured for any period of time leaving the dynamic Eboue and Denilson in central midfield. I really think he has what it takes to succeed. Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - molotov - 2008-08-31 21:04:45 Yeah, I was surprised, thought Rangers had been average at best, shocking at worst (Kaunas matches) up until this point. Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - David D - 2008-09-01 09:13:06 i was just wondering if any english people realise there are leagues outside of england ? The EPL is probably the best league these days due to the major cash flow and foreign investment, players, coaches etc.. Do other leagues get much coverage over there ? or do you not know who AC Milan & Real madrid are ? lol Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - Stevie - 2008-09-01 09:17:16 David D Wrote:i was just wondering if any english people realise there are leagues outside of england ?We do, but funnily enough, being English, we tend to support and talk about English teams. :) Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - steve - 2008-09-01 10:55:13 brits usually know a fair bit about english, scottish, spanish, italian, german and dutch leagues. anymore than that deserves a medal Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - molotov - 2008-09-01 12:28:24 steve Wrote:brits usually know a fair bit about english, scottish, spanish, italian, german and dutch leagues. anymore than that deserves a medalI know a little about the French and Portuguese leagues as well as all those.
