Arsenal?

Be honest, where did Liverpool come last year?

Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - Jamie_ - 2008-09-02 18:15:46

An Arsenal fan at work today thinks that City will kick Arsenal out of the top four in a couple of years. Especially if Wenger continually refuses to buy a good holding midfielder.

But, Liverpool will be fucked without Torres, and Benitez seems to be especially tactically inept in the league this season.

I think fourth place is up for grabs this season, and I'd like to see Villa get it. Although, they're a bit too inconsistent at the moment.

Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - decadence - 2008-09-03 10:36:16

Despite the inconsistency, Aston Villa represent everything I wish Everton were right now.

Bloody hell, now Curbishley has quit at West Ham....

That Feilani bloke Everton bought is pretty handy. I watched him in the Olympics for Belgium and for Liege against Liverpool.

He is fucking massive!

However, he does seem to enjoy short shorts unfortunately.

too true.

People are hypercritical of kenwright, he has done a great job.

Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - wankydave - 2008-09-06 11:32:38

i think hes brilliant. he genuinely loves the club and always has its interests at heart. his only problem is that he isn't loaded enough to be a chairman for a major club, and thats something he admits. i just wish he was an oil tycoon!

Erol Alkan Official Football Thread - KIRBY - 2008-09-06 17:41:56

Kenwright is a buffoon.
