I hope cascade and spezi aren't on it (no offense Pez).

I like when it's all tracks we haven't heard before.

RE: Miami Noize 2012 - Slick - 2012-02-09 01:59:13

The last Miami Noize editions were awesome, always one of my favorite releases every year. Proper bangers, new tunes, love it. Still listen to some of those tunes regularly.

oh yeah. it's tasteless when we've heard them all already. in other words, those tracks need to be released. soon!

It's one of the few releases I look forward to for the sole reason that I am unfamiliar with all of the tracks on it*

It's like X-mas in Spring.

RE: Miami Noize 2012 - Illidren - 2012-02-09 02:30:27

The only thing I really liked off last year's one was Lone's contribution. So hopefully a track from him, but I doubt it. The BS1 track might be good. Something from Strip Steve and/or Das Glow would be nice.

RE: Miami Noize 2012 - Thems - 2012-02-09 08:00:09

I could go for some new D.I.M.

As discussed in another thread it seems like Spezi won't get a release. I got to talk to Bart in december and he confirmed it.
As for Cascade, he said they need to work on a b-side. So, rather unlikely that these will turn up on the compilation I guess :/

Jan Driver does the BNR mastering I think, but what does it matter?

RE: Miami Noize 2012 - pHiLthy - 2012-02-10 01:51:33

I was just wondering, I had the impression producers do their own mastering. I don't really know how that process works.

Most producers dont master their own stuff since a fresh pair of ears listening to a track is better since you can pick out everything the producer missed. + other things.

Apologies....I originally read that as "WHY", not "WHO".
I believe it's Berlin Dubplates & Mastering.

Also, a producer and a mastering engineer are technically two very different things..
