Yes. Glad to see he's finally breaking out of being typecasted as just purely an electro bang0r DJ. If it follows anything like the stuff in his essential mix then I'm stoked.

Really don't know what to expect. Either Cocoon is going down or Alex is going up. We'll see.

Yeah, why not on BNR Trax? I thought BNR Trax was all about more experimental stuff.

In Chicago terms, it's more an hypnotic, big room Ralphi Rosario affair than straight-up acid.
I guess Cocoon just asked Alex for something and he delivered. And I think it suits the label pretty well.

As a person or his music? Because his music is from the 90s, so it'd be weird to judge his label by what he produced over ten years ago.

He's weird all right. Still I like Cocoon Recordings. Some quality tunes on there. Especially the compilations offer a broad range of genres to listen to.

Well, let's just wait for the release and then we can discuss whether Cocoon does Alex justice or vice versa. (:

Ehm... I rather think the other way around. Cocoon is going up and Alex down... I am from Frankfurt, too and I know how people from my environment feel about the cocoon machinery with the label, the club and other open air stuff Sven commercially does, such as love family park... which me and my folks personally refuse to go to... I don't like this kinda techno stuff, it's too random and the people there are. Sven Väth's time is up and I am tired of music such as Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos , Magda and the whole Minus crew who have a subscription on playing @ at the Cocoon...

anyway excited how Adonis sounds like...

Berlin calling :). Yeah not bad, but I prefer creating my own good club experience with the music I love DJing, with fríends and a nice crowd even in cities like Karlsruhe and Würzburg it's possible nowadays. Running after overhyped places like Berlin is done for me. But I get your point. Had my wildest Club experience in Berlin, too. As there are "Die Wilde Renate" and other places like that ;)
