Horsepower seems to use the melody from Technopolis by YMO but slightly rearranged and much sloooower, interesting.

Nowadays, I wish that a lot of DJs at festivals could stop thinking, "OK, I gotta rock the people" and take a step back. It's easy to make everyone go crazy. Scooter can make people go crazy. That's not a tricky thing. It's harder to do something fresh.

Canon's a decent tune but the main synth sound seems quite dated. Like something Daft Punk would've come out with 5 years ago.

Maybe I'm being slightly harsh.

I actually really like it but not like I did Genesis or New Jack or Planisphere. This is actually rock, not electronic-rock mixed into something together, like really just rock. Of course there are lots of electronic elements in it but still..

I quite enjoy listening to these new tracks but I gotta be honest, I'm gonna miss that punchy and sometimes chaotic old sound of theirs.

I think my parents are gonna love it. Will fit right between the old Queen, Thin Lizzy and The Who records. Illidren was totally spot on with Dad Rock :)

Dad Rock was one of the best genres played in the EAF Turntable room :)
