Sneak disses Angello and co. in some rag http://t.co/6P6mfhGa

Twitter beef ensues - more truth bullets from Sneak.

Lots of SHM fans say "Who even is DJ Sneak anyway?"

lols acquired.

I don't know dude, Sneak said some things that needed to be said and had support from Joakim, Dave Clarke and Art Department. Sometimes you have to just speak your mind and not worry about looking like a 'twat'.

I hope someone, somewhere, is archiving all twitter beef for future generations.

I'm confused, are they not electro house though ? which is a sub-genre of house ?

I think he's using the corny argument that it's not soulful like REAL house.

They used to play house/electro house, some of their solo releases were quite good. Now they just make and play this kinda slowed trancey music, mostly catering to americans i think. It is what it is, but whatever it is, it isnt house.

Well said. Sneak looks like a right bitch now. Thought he was bigger than caring about such matters.

Did come off a bit bitter. Angello actually came off pretty well.

Laidback Luke had a dig at Sneak too, something along the lines of "house music is all about progression not being stuck in a loop for two decades".

Worked on a couple of levels that, as we all know how much Sneak loves disco loops.

I totally agree that what SHM do live is pretty wrong, but there was no need.
^this is worded really badly, I know.

I kinda see the point, but going from house to trance is not a progression.

Obviously Sneak needs to live and let live.

Credible European DJs tend not to throw mud at other artists, but I suspect that Sneak, on seeing dance music explode in the US just had a bit of a 'wtf?!' moment when he saw the Swedish House Morons on MTV or whatever.

I've always wondered how you can talk "mature" about house, trance, progressive or whatever. When it comes down, dance music's main purpose is obviously to get people dancing, it's feel good music. Who cares what it's called.

Edit: somewhat retract the bit about dance music and maturity, but you get my point

His main issue is to do with their fake mixing I think
