Everton played off the park for 90 minutes; Evertonians as ever classy in defeat.

Match of the Day coverage was woeful, anyone watching it could be forgiven for thinking it was an even game. Should of been at least three (considering Kuyt's illusionary foul leading to Torres' third), and Cahill was rightly sent off, for dissent if nothing else.

No, Everton were not played off the park for 90 minutes. I will grant you that Liverpool deserved to win, Torres is a class act and he was the differerence between the two teams (two chances, two goals). Again, the refferee proved himself in awe of the big team (booking fellani for his first challenge, which was not deserving of a yellow anyway and bottelling big decisions).

It was a bad game, both teams were average at best, and neither really bossed the game. My only comfort comes in the way of this being the 3rd successive year where Liverpool have gotten worse in the derby, forget 2 man team, you are a one man team.

Oh, and good luck with the title, even though according to most kopites you have already won it.

Everton had 39% possession and 0 shots on target, AT HOME. Liverpool scored a legitimate third, an illegitimate fourth, and Reily made a howler in giving a foul against Torres in the box earlier on in the game when he took the ball down, where odds on he'd of scored. What big descisions did Reily bottle, besides disallowing a legitimate Liverpool third goal, sending Cahill off after a slap to the face, a two footed tackle, and dissent in the space of 5minutes, not booking Yakubu after countless dives, and giving 20 fouls apiece?

And this one man team business is great. You'd of thought it had been debunked at Villa Park against a "great" Aston Villa team, and against United at Anfield, but no, the bitters keep it coming.

are these found on retarded messageboards like RAWK? I think if Keane scores 15 league goals this season we'll win the league. At the very least we'll come third behind United and Chelsea. We've got our best team in 20 years, with quality on the bench too. You can keep track of this prediction for the end of the season.

It is simply beyond a joke now, I can't see a way out either, the team is not good enough. It's going to be a long few months til Janurary, where it looks like we'll have to spend huge money to sort this out. We need a class centre back (alex from chelsea imo, not that he'd ever come), a defensive midfielder (veloso) and a striker (villa). If we don't get 6 points against Stoke and Hull (which is by no means an easy task) then we could be in serious, serious trouble.

miracles rarely happen in January. 'big signings' a la Asprill, Morientes and Flo only disrail teams. only caught the second half, but Tottenham seemed hard done by; were dominating before Crouch's goal.

Well that's Everton's season down the drain.

Im in two minds as to if i even want moyes to re-sign anymore, what has he done to stop the rot? I know the players are more heavily to blame, particularly defensive lapses, but if he was actually brave enough to lay us out in the attacking formation we had in the second half, we'd probably be through. I hate watching everton at the moment we just play backwards, no pace whatsoever, i dont think any of our players feel comfortable running at anyone except arteta and to a certain extent saha. Watching portsmouth makes me sick with envy.
