watched it up till 2-0 last night, was silly how many chances argentina missed in the first half before goin a goal up.
my left ear is just about back to normal, thanks for askin. been taking some pills that the doctor prescribed to regain the low frequencies, pretty crazy that a pill can do that. as long as its just the low frequencies its quite eaily treated apparently |

what do people think of rio's north vs south all stars game idea? it would be infinitely more entertaining than the community shield

I think it would provoke an entirely mixed response from the punters like, half who are all for it, because they get to support players that could play for their club, and get to say, in my case, the north is better because southerners are all soft shites. On the other hand, which is what I feel, people will be like, "ahhh here we go again, our clubs players playing in some match that doesn't benefit our club in any way (the club that pay the players wages) and they just get injured so we can't use them in the league for ages and ages and ages", which is the reason i loathe the f.a and think they should pay the wages of players while they are playing for england, plus the cost of the treatment for the player when he gets crocked. Should be plenty of good discussions for this

An end of season PFA team of the year vs La Liga team of the year would be good. Could only happen when no Euro/World Cup is coming up

I would also like to see, even though it could and will not ever happen, a top la liga side play against a team like stoke, just to see if they could manage playing against a stop start side and how they would cope with the long ball all the time |

So here's the pots for World Cup Qualifying groups to be drawn on Saturday;
Pot One: England, Spain, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Norway, Greece Pot Two: France, Montenegro, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia, Turkey, Serbia, Slovakia Pot Three: Switzerland, Israel, Rep of Ireland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary Pot Four: N Ireland, Scotland, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Lithuania, Albania, Austria, Poland Pot Five: Armenia, Finland, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Moldova, FYR Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Faroe Islands Pot Six: Wales, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Malta, Andorra, San Marino Everyone's making a big deal out of France being in pot 2 and they do seem to have turned a corner under Blanc... so what'd be a group of death for your country? For England I'd say; France, Belgium, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan France will be serious contenders again, Belgium are on the up and up and will fancy taking some points off of everyone in the group and the other 3 will be a right royal pain in the arse to travel to. |

I'm in the classic league (don't see much point in the head-to-head. 'Relegated by xmas.'
see if i can find my victorious form of 09/10 season - at least there won't be any west ham players dragging my points down next season :) |

I wasn't happy with my 13th place last season but that was my first one. Also this league was fuckin' strong. I have experience now so watch out :)

Off to Paul Scholes' testimonial on friday. Can't wait man. The guys a dude.
Can't wait for the new season to properly get going, and for all the transfer SAGAS to be done with. The fabregas/barca thing. Sick of reading it. I've taken the liberty of joining the phantasy ;) leagues too. I was in the head to head league last year, which is a format I find weird - all depends on the opposition. |

Yeah exactly, i'm sick of those transfer sagas too. Especially Cesc and Sneijder.
You are welcome in our league Maxim. Scholes is a true legend. |
