maybe so but most managers agendas are aligned with their club... it's players, it's fans, it's chairman
i don't know, maybe I'm holding everyone up to Martin Jol's example, granted he didn't always see eye to eye with mr levy but you felt like he had the club at the heart of his decisions, he felt like a tottenham man from the day he took over from santini the moment the england job came up redknapp's approach changed, notable in his language always talking about tottenham like some foreign entity 'tottenham', 'them' and 'what they are going to do' lo and behold a couple of days before hodgson was confirmed it was back to 'us' and what 'we are going to do' I'm just glad we've got Levy, though he's in for a tough summer, he'll be pilloried in the press if he ditches redknapp |
