Nobody seems to have mentioned the fact that the only England manager not to be roundly hated by supporters of every club in the land was given the freedom of Ipswich today!!

Sir Robert Robson. Hats off, pints down. National treasure and one of the greatest living Englishmen.

so, what does everyone think?

Personally, I'm glad Fulham stayed up and am glad that Man U won the league. But I still think that Chelsea will win th echampions league.

On another note, Keegan today proved he is tactically inept, he tried to play us as though they were as good as us. He will need serious investment in that shit team to do anything.

very pleased with the way everything went, match of the day should be excellent and entertaining tonight.

if sven wasnt leaving already, he will be now! still think its the wrong decision and clearly has effected the team performance.

fulham have worked miracles and utd are deserved champions, all it would have taken was liverpool to lose to make this a perfect day ;)

alot of the everton players showed some real character today, even neville who i normally cant stand had a good game & fernandes' dead ball delivery was immense, really hope we can knock the asking price down, despite his ability to frustrate the hell out of me at times.
And we finally got that penalty too :D

Fulham's has perhaps been the greatest relegation comeback since Everton fixed Segers. 11 points off the top having lost home and away to United, and having a season where manager and club is in turmoil. Couple of quality signings in the summer, bit more consistency from Babel, and ill be looking forward to next season

Any idea how much Man U paid Steve Bennett today?

Worst referee in the Prem. Fucking dreadful.

He was never going to give a penalty against utd on the last day of the season was he ;)

Making amends for not giving scholes a 2nd yellow by turning down a penalty is very contentious, but at least he did that much as he clearly shouldnt have still been on the pitch.

My god Rangers are bad. It's like watching a FA Cup game where a lower league team comes up against a premiership side. But hey, they could always do a Barnsley.

Looks like MCR is gonna be in a bit of a mess this time tomorrow.

Looks like games in the 80's on the news. Cooppers fully kitted up twatting owt that moves and fat drunk Jocks punching the fuck out of geezers with their wives and kids. Proper joke.

It's like Boro away.

Last night the city hand a police siren soundtrack, not the best night's sleep I've ever had :)

To be fair to the GMP, they were really relaxed during the day. We went wandering round the city about 18:30 and they were turning blind eyes to hammered jocks drinking and swaying about town centre, pissing on shops on Deansgate, and even let them take their own booze into the fan zones (big screens for English games has a no alcohol rule). The atmosphere before the game was drunken, but still everyone in good spirits and up for a laugh.

My favourite quote after all the shit went down was this one:

"The people of Manchester have been fantastic - but the officials behind this are a total disgrace. Some people are really angry. They've spent a lot of money - maybe

rangers are a disgrace to Scotland on and off the pitch. I'm glad even they don't associate themselves with Scotland
