Although I did spend most of my time dancing, always a good sign, I went up for a bit to go check out his mixing style and saw him doing extensive looping to mix between tracks.
He would set up a loop to emphasize the kick and then sort of improv the transition by cueing the kick and building it up. I thought it was rather cool and sounded great. I am not a DJ so that's about as far as I can take you... Oh and did I mention I was dancing, the true test of a DJ. F-F-F-AKE Blood... |

not really, i'm sure he's been playing the same sets, so I know he didn't drop most of them.
For instance, he didn't play the remix of Unkle - Restless, which is my favorite fake blood tune. but it was still all good, I did get to hear his edit of teachers int o raven. The twinkle in an eye about to be blackened. |
