The Man Who Was Thursday - G. K. Chesterton (!!!!)
Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami ( I've read Dance Dance Dance as well, but i much prefer NW ) Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald The Big Sleep - Raymond Chandler Blood Meridian - Cormac McCarthy On the Road - Jack Kerouac anything by J. D. Salinger anything by Orwell few others i can't think of. Gravity's Rainbow - Thomas Pynchon is the next one on my list, I've heard it's brilliant "I missed the part where I trolled." © Skelefunk http://truantsblog.com/ http://www.twitter.com/rosstruants |

Andrej Kurkov - Death and the Penguin
It's about a struggling writer who lives with his penguin. Has a surreal touch and is really well written. If you like Murakami's stuff I'd highly recommend it. |
