i searched and couldnt see this posted - sorry if it has been already.

just saw that toddla t & alex metric have been signed up to radio 1's In New Music We Trust show - replacing Dave Spoon & Nerm and D-code.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressre...rust.shtml

"The new line-up will be broadcast (in order of rotation) from Friday morning on 4 June 2009:

* 4 June: Jaymo and Andy George – box fresh electro + future disco
* 11 June: Alex Metric – punk pop and indie techno
* 18 June: Toddla T – new British music influenced by the melting pot of world cultures
* 25 June: Heidi – stripped down techno + bass jackin' house"

future disco? do jaymo and andy george play disco? or does this mean that in the future this music will be considered outdated, cheesy and uncool?

Wish someone would replace Tong might get to hear some new tunes for a change instead of tracks we all hear, say are fantastic then end up on the show. And Im not alone must of been played on his show for like 10 weeks on the trot before it came out!!!!

it'll be more breaks and house orientated i expect. he likes vocals and production values i think.
