The Intouchables - liked it very much, funny and sentimental.

Threads
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090163/ A documentary style film about what might happen during, and after a nuclear war. When the narration comes in, it's spoken in such a matter of fact way, which really messed with me a bit. Also, seeing stuff like radiation sickness progress, charred remains and general breakdown of society was pretty scary. Harrowing, horrific and downright depressing. Definitely need to watch something more upbeat now. To be fair, you'd find it hard to outwit gravel -SSD o Twit Twoo o Soundcloud ^ New side project of mine ^ |

went on a film binge this weekend.
saw the imposter in the cinema. really bizarre. it's about a frenchman who pretended to be a missing teen from texas and moved in with the family for a while. true story. there's a PI in the film who's an amazing character. don't know if i'd recommend it, it's quite odd. went to see the dark knight rises again, think i enjoyed it more this time. not sure about it. then watched stranger than fiction at home. it's a bit twee, but i liked it. can't believe buster from arrested development was living here in the film, so cool. then watched the swedish girl with the dragon tattoo. i'd read the book nearly three years ago and forgotten most of it. it was ok, they really cut chunks out, but i guess that's always going to happen with such a detailed book. well done i guess. |

Watched the Hunger Games yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Surprisingly brutal in places. Although felt a little rushed, particularly towards the end.
