Crookers are DJ Phra and Bot and they produce terrifyingly good music. Think Baile Funk meets "Booty" with a side helping of "Jack" and a slice of Bass big enough to rattle ones bones.
The Italian pair started out seperately; learning to play piano & guitar, mastering synths & sequencers and DJing & MCing before joining forces to create the mighty Crookers.

They've got remixes coming up for the likes of Bonde Do Role, Brodinski and Van Helden whilst their own material flourishes on labels such as Universal, Southern Fried, Big Sur, Onthebrink, the excellent MAN Records and more!

..not crooks, crooked or crank.. They are CROOKERS!

Plus: Tony Poland of Slutty Fringe fame will be providing a wonderful guest selection!

Quality, Crookers have always put on a good show everytime I've seen them! Looking forward to this one guys! Also had your old monthly minimixes on last night, do you still do those?

We've kinda stopped the minimixes these days because we're doing mixes every two weeks for the show. But a few people have mentioned that, so we may put something together soon. :)

Can't wait to hear this one, saw a video for Crookers - Voglio Solo Limonare (ft. La Pisa & M.O.L.) on the Italian MTV last night, was pretty good! I've never heard it (or of it) before last night, is it an old one does anybody know? Would like to get a copy!

Havn't had a chance to listen yet but looks good, also downloaded the minimix!

Keen to hear the Boosta track, as I am wanting to go see Moby in Milan at the end of July and on before him is Boosta, aint heard of Boosta stuff before, did I also read that he started Subsonica? Both seem to be from Turin and Subsonica are playing on the Saturday of the Traffic festival this week.

Have this show on whenever I get a chance! enjoyed the boosta track, however, the milan moby show has been cancelled so i wont get a chance to see him this time! Instead we decided to extend our weekend trip slightly, off to see Oliver Koletzki in Milan on the Friday then on to Venice to see Moby's other show on the beach at Jesolo on saturday night, can't wait, has anyone seen Moby before, its just a DJ set but the setting looks good http://www.myspace.com/mobydjset

Also I happened to catch Crookers performing Limonare at a TRL show on MTV last night, still need to get hold of that one!
