I've already ordered the vinyl box set of this so I don't feel too guilty about seeking out a leaked copy. If there's a better album than "We're New Here" or a better song than "I'll Take Care Of U" released this year, I'll be blown away. It's totally sublime, the way Jamie xx intersperses samples from other songs to weave in and out of Gil Scott-Heron's own words is amazing (for example, the opening track "I'm New Here" where a pitched-up voice sings "I met him at a party" and GSH responds "Met a woman in a bar". Or the way lines from Rui Da Silva's "Touch Me" echo throughout "Ur Soul And Mine"). I love some of the slowed-down hip-hop beats, it reminds me of Portishead's "Dummy". And the xx-esque guitar in "I'll Take Care Of U" with the house music piano and GSH's voice... total bliss.

So please put your sweet hand in mine,
we'll float in space and drift in time...

I've preordered it so I might download a leak tonight too. The songs I've heard are just amazing. Jamie XX is so talented it's ridiculous.

"Running" stayed in my head for days.
