This tune by Genny G is, at the moment, on permanent repeat. 118BPM but on a decent soundsystem it sounds 'pounding'.

Coincidentally, I'm playing a house gig next month and I 'need' to get my hands on more of this kind of track. The others listed in this thread tend to be a little more subtle. Any recommendations?

Started a new job so haven't been on the boards for a couple of weeks... I think this is my new favourite thread! The night's this Friday @ The Star of Bethnal Green if anyone fancies it. And it'll be my birthday so I might be a bit tipsy.

If you mean slightly heavier house then:

does the trick.

Also Tom Demac's Lose That, Tape This has been a favourite recently.

Little Leaf edit of the Shuggie Otis classic

Do you know that feeling when you discover a tune that's so good it can turn a shitty day in a good one? Just heard this track 5 times in a row at work and I could feel the endorphines rushing through my blood. Thanks for this!

^^ I concur that edit is stellar.

Also I'd like to add that I like too many tunes in this thread to quote them all. Goldmine.

The mysterious Parisian 'Jeremy' self-releases this incredibly authentic sounding New Jersey house stuff (on label My Love Is Underground) that's strictly only avaliable on wax.

Some of his recs are going for £100+ on Discogs! (http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?master_...611&ev=mb)

I was just curious if anyone was lucky enough here to have some of his releases?

I wouldn't normally do this but it is sold out and it is totally amazing.

There are 5 copies on discogs at reasonable prices and it is normally in stock on deejay.de.

Mode Dub is one of my favourite deep house tracks ever.

The whole vibe of the label is keeping vinyl and classic dance culture alive.

One of my fave deep tracks. First heard it at Garden Festival last year when Ralph Lawson played it on his boat party.

Cracking stuff!

Are Maya Jane Coles songs not ghost produced? She does seem like a very talented DJ regardless.

Out in a couple of weeks.
