Naw no ones saying you can pick better songs. Just sometimes your out and you would really love to hear a certain song and just thought he could play it, after all he did put it in his HARD mix.

the only big name dj thats played a request of mine was sinden, tho could well be that he intended to play it anyway. every other big name dj has just shrugged it off, tho i only ever do it when im smashed so maybe they cant decode my slurring. If im in a reasonable state i dont ask the bigger names for requests, end of the day you pay to see them do their thing.

its this new bar called Vidal Lounge, behind tony & guy on the high street, on mill street. my mate Sam (tall, aryan looking) runs a night called 'dirty disco', sorta jackin house kinda stuff, as heard on MOS comps and the like, and ibiza terrace house as well if his mate plays. every saturday i think, it doesn't get that busy most of the time but the musics good and it packs a punch. its kind of a pre drinking bar. if you get talking to him just ask him if you can play cus anything goes and he's a sound guy. i'v only played twice, its fun and you can get free drinks if you play.

i asked erol to play lotp after bumping into him at a urinal in a durrr night, he did. i was fucked, didn't really care but obviously thinking about who am i to request a song. still played it though :)

As a DJ of over 10 years, I personally don't mind requests if they're in the vibe of the night and I have the song. The name of the blog came from an early post/photo.
