Off to Nottingham weekend after next for a Stag do. I haven't been since I was a 9 year old Forest fan.

Looks like we have lots of daytime activities planned, and a few bars that we know a stag party will get into for the evening. Any good nightspots that I should be hitting up after the bars, like the Rescue Rooms? Cant see any on Google, but are there any good DJs in town on 20/21 April, or solid local residents? Where is the best chicken shish in the town centre? Where can I get good espresso in the morning?

All advice appreciated.

Stealth for a house/techno on a sat/fri night out, connected to Rescue Rooms which is more indie. On sat night if you go to Rescue Rooms before 10 it's free to enter, then the doors to Stealth open at 11ish meaning you can get in free.

There's a really cool bar called Spanky van Dykes closeby to the above which plays a diverse range of good tunes and has some good drinks and a really cool all-round vibe, great for a warm-up.

The Bodega Social is an alright club on particular nights, and it's near lace market which is full of bars, but it's really close to a bar called The Pit and Pendulum, which is a gothy/alternative bar that I always liked in my student days.

That's all I got, I'm sure Santero can help you a lot more, and this info is a year out of date btw.

Cool, thanks for all the info. Stealth sounds like a good shout for the Saturday I reckon. Will check out the line up.

^ tequila bar looks awesome, but probably very messy. I'll add it to the list!

Been checking out Stealth, they have some line ups there. Fingers crossed.
