After a cracking Easter Thursday party with Eric Duncan who tore the place apart, Discovery & Defintion cross swords for another special night at the Shoreditch disco pub on Sunday, 6th May, and for all of you who came to our April party, you know you can expect a fun night! Discovery's Bank holiday parties have so far had legendary booking guests including Mark E, Psychemagik, Robert James, Jamie Jones, Move D, I Cube, The Revenge, Tornado Wallace to name a few. Definition's magic turntables so far featured guests including Tim Sheridan, Chris Woodward, Jozif, DeadEcho and OutArt and the party has been growing mainly thanks to the focus on substance and quality rather than imitation. For our special Bank holiday outing at this well-known Shoreditch venue we have something very special lined up with a truly diverse and exciting team of residents and guests chosen especially for your dancing and audio pleasure....

Hector-He has been busy touring around the world and DJing alongside main heavyweights of the electronic scene such as Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Sven Vath, Livio & Roby and Magda and has consistently been releasing high quality productions on Berlin imprint Mobilee as well as Crosstown Rebels, 8bit, 2020 Vision and Tsuba. Effortlessly balancing a will to experiment with an unwavering commitment to the founding spirit of house, He is one of electronic music’s most exciting up-and-comers. Hector has notched up a series of high profile releases, including his breakthrough 12” La Raza for Dinky’s Horizontal imprint, the Piano Hispano EP with Pablo Cahn, and Hispanic Causing Panic for 8bit. As well as contributing the track “Keep O” to the Hi Five mobilee anniversary compilation, Hector has made his mark with the defining Berlin imprint via Got Fringe, a complex, stomping, vocal-fueled percussive pair of tracks that fuses slower house tempos with an irresistible Latin swing. Expect a high standard set delivered with vision and passion, a set everyone at the Horse & Grom is very much looking forward to!
Joining our special headliner will be DEFINITION honcho Montana Cruz, joining us just before flying for his set at Plissken 2012 Festival in Athens where he will be sharing the decks alongside Andrew Weatherall and Peaches. Making his Horse and Groom debut will be Jon Sojo with his customary deep and nu disco sound and Peter Glasspool who recently released an outstanding track in the form of Q-Please. Joining the action will also be Jon Vamp, one of East London's most quirky DJs as well as DEFINITION resident Prime Ideal who has now become a synonym for great beats and the foundation to Definition's success.
