so i have been mixing with traktor and an external mixer (behringer) for a little while....now i have a vinyl collection that i want to start mixing as well and i was wondering what my best option is to start mixing digital + vinyl together.....

so it come down to serato scratch vs traktor scratch

firstly its not clear, but i dont have to be using a rane mixer with serato scratch correct?

are both compatible with cdjs? although im not sure what the point of this would be if it would be hooked up to my laptop anyway

also which is better for adding my own little clips ive made in logic??? and what kind of extra setup might i need for playing around with them, (midi etc.)

basically what do you recommend between the two, and what extra equipment might i need.

thanks for your help and reading.

just digital and vinyl, but i want to incorporate clips that i've made in logic....i dont know if 'the bridge' with ableton and serato would then better suit me because it doesn't seem that traktor has the same kind of capabilities like that....

yup the bridge would suit. i'd recommend getting a serato sl3. it has 3 in's and outs and great quality. couldn't you just put your loops into a music form wav/mp3 and use them that way??
