downstairs- Discophobia - Ater our last July party with Smokin Jo taking that dance floor by storm, we are mega excited to return to the Horse & Groom inviting behind its decks one the youngest and very talented editions to both Terpsiton and Mild Pitch (Manuel Tur and DPlay's label) - Kai Von Glasow flying from Essen - the home of Mild Pitch to share his signature deep sound.
Kai Von Glasow (Mild Pitch/Terpsiton)0 At only 21 years of age Kai von Glasow has already made an impact with his deep, sometimes genre boundry defying productions. With some of his tracks being supported by the likes of Jimpster, Sebo K, Anja Schneider, Djulz, The Revenge, Martin Landsky and Matthias Meyer while also appearing in charts of Marcin Czubala (Mobilee), Langenberg, DPlay, Manuel Tur, Jimpster, Luca Agnelli and Tiago Fragateiro and releases on both Mild Pitch and Terpsiton Kai is set for many more great things ahead. He's been holding a residency at Essen's well-known club Hotel Shanghai for the last couple of years and made his first steps as a producer on Terpsiton Records in 2010. Now in 2012 he is working on several projects and his own music with his last Ep Unkind being released in March 2012 on Mild Pitch imprint. Unkind has found much in particularly because of its intricate and diverses sound fearless of defying genre boundaries

Upstairs - Emmanuelle's Party Bucket brought the likes of Soul Clap and Jay Shepheard to intimate venues around Leeds. In summer 2010 they made the journey down the M1 to continue the party at Horse & Groom bringing guests such as Richy Ahmed(Hot Natured) & Ryan Shaw(EAR) to our warm, welcoming environment. Creators & Residents Death on the Balcony will be joined by friends, regular guests along the way. So fall head first into the bucket, surround yourself with good people, good grooves and expect nothing but the best disco/house/deep techno around! Our parties in 2011/2012 so far @ Horse and Groom have been a huge success ... We aim to continue to please so keep sat 9th july free for this!!
Waff (Hot Creations)- Still only in his early 20’s, UK based DJ and producer wAFF has an undeniable talent that far exceeds his years. His musical passion and mind-boggling affinity with computer production software, sees him surgically attached to his laptop 90% of his waking hours, with the other 10% being spent delving into the music back catalogues of his hero’s and influences Loco Dice, Tania Vulcano, Martin Buttrich, Luciano and Marco Carola. Co-founder of long established Northern clubnight Koala, wAFF has played host to DJs the likes of Matt Tolfrey, Yaya, Glimpse, Subb-an, Nico Lahs and Jordan Peak in his mission to bring quality techno and house music to his native East Yorkshire. He has also seen his Koala venture take off in Ibiza with a two season run of hugely successful boat parties. Not only resident at his own night, wAFF has spent years playing for fellow hometown promoters Different Language as one half of Sona Sound with friend and co-collaborator Pete Batty, a venture that has seen him share deckspace with DJs the likes of Nick Curly, Simon Baker, Hobo, Audiojack, Sebo K, to name a few. With a varied and progressive DJing career under his belt, it’s wAFF’s thriving back catalogue of techno and deep house productions that will see his name shoot to the forefront of the electronic music scene in 2012. Kicking things off aged seventeen on the production programme Fruity Loops, his technical ability progressed at speed before he progressed onto Ableton, a step which has much deepened the intensity and professional flair of his recent work and resulted in his first ever EP being signed to the globally revered and respected label Hot Creations. With excitement around the release gathering steam, the initially signed three track EP will now feature four tracks, and with the release date edging ever closer it’s only a matter of time before wAFF is not only recognised as incredibly talented but globally admired
