RUMoUR has started . . .

A party solely dedicated to bringing back the days where a DJ was allowed to take the crowd on a musical journey. Where the clubbers explore unknown territories. Where the music has no limitations.

Spread the Word. Spread the Message. Spread the RUMoUR.

GARRY TODD (4 HOUR SET)

We welcome for our opening party a very special guest indeed!

Garry is Sunderland born but is currently based in Sydney, Australia.

Since leaving the UK six years ago Garry has become a pivotal figure in reforming Australia’s underground club scene. His now-legendary Bread&Butter parties breathed life into a dying Sydney scene that was feasting out on an extra large unhappy meal of tasteless commercial mainstream horribleness, whilst Garry’s open-minded events attracted underground luminaires to travel to Oz such as Mattias Tanzmann, Dixon, Matthew Jonson, Ralph Lawson and Joris Voorn. Most recently he played alongside François K!

Having built up a formidable reputation in Australia for his diverse and original music and DJ sets, Garry is a much in-demand commodity regularly headlining the best parties and festivals down under such as the Playground Weekender, Space festival, Stereosonic festival and Circo Loco which have seen Garry mixing it up with house music heavyweights Jimpster, Nick Fancuilli and Ricardo Vilalobos on a regular basis. Garry also held down a residency at Carl Cox’s weekly party at Space Ibiza in the summer of 2010 which has helped sew the seeds for an exciting future.

But it is with his music that Garry is fast making his name as one of the most exciting and talked about production prospects around. Garry’s “No Giggity” track out on Solomun’s 2DIY4 label has become an instant hit with the likes of Cats and Dogz and the Diynamic crew, with DJ mag heralding the record “an undoubtedly massive tune”.

LBK & ELLIOT MAYNARD

Both LBK and Elliot Maynard are starting to make waves on the Birmingham club scene with their blend of deep and groovy disco/house/techno.

After both starting out doing their own thing at different nights in the Midlands, they have come together to put on this party and also play the odd back to back set too!

They are now both RUMoUR residents, and you'll be seeing a lot more of them in the coming months, we're sure.
