Yep that adds up.

I just hate the fact that when it all comes down to it, the average viewer is just gonna go, "so what was all that about" when its over. I think that other series they are making will be forced to explain it more. Kinda like a woops, we messed up and couldnt really explain it in time for the average TV only viewer....heres something else.

Because somewhow I dont expect your normal addicted to TV person will know much about old testament biblical stuff and some egyptian stuff..and even the people who do will be forced to go searching online for more clues....which essentially means its a failed show....which I enjoy watching.

Do you think that Esau and Jacob are aware of what happened to the Returnees/Sawyer & Co going back in time? Jacob must of known as he persuaded Hurley to go back to the island, and this just might be his defence against Esau's newly found loophole. Or Jacob didn't know and that will eventually save him (unwittingly)... Or he's just plain old dead.

Tis all very confusing at the moment.

I just hope it doesnt all lead to a Matrix stylee 'reboot' choice climax.

That finale's come in for a huge amount of stick :

"The writers have messed up so much and created a show that has become an satire of the originial show. How simple must one be not to know that there is Locke in the box after Lapidus looked at it? And a guy living in a foot. The more i think about it, the funnier it gets!"

"Can anyone tell me why go back in time to Dharma just to learn nothing? Who is Horace? Who are the Degroots? What's the purpose of Dharma? Why the Island? How did Radzinky who should know more about the island wind up in the hatch and do the blast map? Who is Annie and what happened to her? What happened to Olivia the teacher? We had a good excuse this season to go back in time and learn about origins. Whether it be the Island, Jacob, The Monster, The Others, Dharma, Danielle etc etc. And I just felt it was wasted. We have 17 episodes left and I am really worried nothing will be learned at the end of this."

to think, I quite enjoyed it.

We were just a band who made it very big, that's all - John Lennon

Ah, the casually racist view of the finale.

I'd been waiting to read that...

Abysmal, to be honest.

I really enjoyed the season finale. Although season 5 wasn't what i expected it to be. I kind of got the impresson at the end of season 4 that they were starting to add up the loose ends but now i have absolutly no idea where this is going. The only thing which really annoyed me was that i actually expected to see where this whole detonating the bomb thing is going whether they would make it back to the future or whatever but now i have to wait 9 months !!! Damnit!!! 1 Week was far too long not to speak of the 2 week breaks where they would just show a recap.

If I'm not mistaken they found "Horcase's" uniform on a dead corpse in one of the Dharma trucks last season....

1 season should hopefully be enough to explain most things. Like prison break for example, was such an abrupt ending. Was getting proper shit anyway
